Q1 How are the books sorted? - The genealogies are sorted by the surname of the main or the first family mentioned in the title. The book The History of the Peterson, Smith and Glenn Families would be under Peterson. Regional history will be sorted by state and further sorted by the subject of the book. For example if you are looking for a book on Pontiac Illinois, which is in Livingston County, it would be listed under the P's in the Illinois section. To be safe I would also check under L for Livingston county in case the book covers both topics.

Q2 Are the books returnable? - The books are returnable if they arrive defective. The book is not defective if it does not contain any information on your family. If you are curious if your family is listed in a book contact me and I will check the book for you.

Q4 How often do you update your lists? - I don't know! I am going try to shoot for once a month. It will depend on the number of books I purchase in a month and if I have the time to enter the books into the database. Some months I may buy a dozen books while others I may purchase several hundred - feast or famine!

Q5 How soon will the books be mailed? - I try to mail all orders within 24 hours of receiving the order. Sometimes this is not always possible for example if the order is a large order or if I am traveling.

Q6 What are the condition of the books? - The books are in good to very good condition with defects noted. I started this business to serve genealogists, who care more about the content than the condition. If you are a book collector and condition is important, please contact me if you have any questions about a book and I will try provide you with more information.
